Job Description/
Responsibilities 		The Senior Developer at Dubai Men's College will perform business and system analysis, design, programming, training, documentation, implementation and maintenance of administrative applications. The responsibilities will include: design and develop intranet-based applications, produce MIS information, analysis and development reports, research and recommend new technology solutions, develop applications to enhance college communications and information dissemination and work with other departments/colleges on development projects.

The incumbent will lead the web based online applications development in the college in coordination with other departments and HCT and also manage and support the college portal services. He/she should be able to work independently on assigned projects and achieve specific objectives on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems
• Specific professional technical training or graduate studies in the above or related discipline are preferred
• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer
• Experience in using databases with web/online applications. Working with Oracle/SQL as database backend
• Must have solid working knowledge of ASP, .NET, Java Server pages, web design and development as well as in planning and managing web-based information sources to produce MIS systems
• Internet security knowledge is a must
Advantages:

• XML, Sun Java and experience developing Java servlets and Java beans
