Job Description/
Responsibilities 		The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a large manufacturing / trading / banking sector in the documentation or trade finance department for a minimum of 10 years out of which 5 years will be in a supervisory / managerial cadre, and will have thorough exposure to the following:
• UCP 500, URC 522, URR 525, URDG 528.
• Defining all types of Export LC requirements including preparation of LC drafts and communicating these to customers in line with contractual requirements.
• Coordinating with sales / marketing departments for smooth execution of sales contracts.
• Vetting export LC’s and all types of bank guarantee’s.
• Coordinating with the shipping and logistics departments to ensure the shipments meet deadlines and / or contractual requirements.
• Supervise the preparation, submission, negotiation and realization of all export documents under LC’s or otherwise.
• Managing the guarantee portfolio including submission and realization of claims.
• Managing the legalization of all export documents.
• Dealing with banks for all export LC and bank guarantee related issues.
• Considerable knowledge of commercial contracts including Inco Terms 2000.
• Coordinating with the receivables department for ensuring appropriate realization from export documents.
• Should possess very good personality, high communication and negotiation skills, very good interpersonal skills, good supervisory and customer relationship skills, able to work under pressure and in the age group of around 40 years.
