Responsibilities 		Management Information Systems (MIS) / Accounting Manager
Doha, Qatar.

Based in the attractive Gulf State of Qatar, our client, a new Islamic Investment Bank with a paid up capital of $500 million and a declared capital of $1billion, is seeking to hire a Management Information Systems / Accounting Manager to complement their growing finance team.

Operating within a booming Qatari economy the new Islamic Investment Bank will provide real estate and infrastructure development, private equity and venture capital, asset management and advisory services to its clients.

The MIS / Accounting manager will be an experienced qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACA or equivalent) with thorough knowledge of iMAL/Oracle reporting environments.
He/she will be required to develop and implement iMAL/Oracle reporting systems; maintain and distribute statistical data to Senior Management; respond to Management Information queries; prepare and submit financial statements (balance sheet, income statements, cash flow statements) to the Qatar Finance Centre Regulatory Authority and other regulatory bodies and be responsible for the reporting of monthly management accounts.

The ideal candidate will have extensive accounting experience and a sound knowledge of the iMAL/Oracle systems to implementation level. Previous work experience in the Middle East or knowledge of Islamic Banking principals would be beneficial but is not essential.
More important is a willingness to be involved in a start up situation and take a leading role in developing processes and procedures that help to achieve the banks strategic objectives and regulatory obligations.
