| Profile | BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE: ƒnRequires a relevant degree and 5 to 7 years of progressively complex Finance & Accounting experience generally gained through staff and supervisory assignments in related areas. ƒnRequires general understanding of basic business operations including the general business processes and computerized applications. ƒnThe incumbent must have ability to provide strategic direction for effectively managing staff, budgets, business plans, one-year project plans and developing 2-5 year plans with management, process owners and Department staff. ƒnRequires ability to work with diversified departments along with effective oral and written communications skills. ƒnThe incumbent must have a strong customer focus. DESIRED PROFILE OF CANDIDATE This job shall entails taking up a major responsibility for running a large financial organization. Hence, the following profile is desired: ƒnShould be a proven team leader and should be able to manage teams of Accountants. ƒnShould be able to validate and control timelines and budgets for all activities in the company. Should be able to effectively forecast, monitor and control project resources and costs, to deliver optimum business benefits.
