Job Description/ Responsibilities	JOB TITLE: Security Officer – Security Monitoring DEPARTMENT: IT JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for monitoring security infrastructure of first gulf bank with the help of automated tools like vulnerability assessment , log analyzer etc.coordinate with the managed security provider , IT and business for incident resolution PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES: • Monitor SLA’s of the vendor. • Review the report monitoring on daily basis. • Monitor logs & manage the reported incidences. • Set process to track and monitor the vulnerabilities on various information assets of the bank and track the same for closure • Set process to test patches before recommending implementation • Periodic vulnerability assessment of IT infrastructure • Vulnerability Assessment using various industry standard tools • Monitoring security logs and activities using log analysis tools like Arc Sight JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Should be degree in computer science or equivalent with minimum of 5 years experience in development, management & monitoring of information security systems and applications. • Should have exposure in various vulnerability assessment tools like nessus , retina etc and log analysis tools like ArcSight • Should have industry specific certifications like CEH /CISSP / CISA

Profile	JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Should be degree in computer science or equivalent with minimum of 5 years experience in development, management & monitoring of information security systems and applications. • Should have exposure in various vulnerability assessment tools like nessus , retina etc and log analysis tools like ArcSight • Should have industry specific certifications like CEH /CISSP / CISA
