| Job Description/ Responsibilities |
Hult International Business School (www.hult.edu) offers an intensive, one-year MBA program to business professionals from around the globe. Hult is now opening a campus in Dubai, with the first class beginning in September of 2008. Our student body is made up of approximately 95% international students, with current classes representing about 35 different countries. We are part of the EF Education family of companies that share the common mission of breaking down barriers of language, culture and geography through language learning, travel and cultural exchange. Hult International Business School in Dubai is now seeking a Student Services Manager. In this front-line role, the candidate will work closely with students to provide an exceptional educational experience. The primary responsibilities of this position are: • To develop, promote and implement a monthly student activity program which meets the needs of Hult’s international community. • To serve as the main point of contact for student-related immigration and visa issues. • Outreach and guidance to incoming students who are relocating to Dubai. • Assistance with annual orientation and graduation experiences. • Coordination and distribution of a brief weekly newsletter. • Management and organization of student files and forms. • To provide daily support via email, phone and in-person to our student body of over 150 students. • Maintain the facilities: team-rooms, A/V equipment, furniture and general upkeep. In addition, this person will be responsible for providing supervision of evening programs at least once per month. To excel in this position, you must have outstanding customer-service skills and be able to maintain your composure in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Flexibility and positive-attitude are a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical. Candidates with international experience and language skills are highly preferred. Candidates must have a Bachelors degree (Master’s Degree preferred) and three to five years of appropriate experience working with international students or in a student-related field. |
