Job Description/
Responsibilities 		In conjunction with the Chief Radiologist, be responsible for the delivery of a quality radiology service to both internal and external customers of the American Hospital. Liaise closely with the Chief Radiologist and Chief Executive Officer to perform and be responsible for the administration affairs of the department annually, with the Chief Radiologist recommend an equipment, space and manpower plan. Responsible for the department Quality Improvement program in conjunction with the Chief Radiologist develop annual operational goals and objectives.



To perform SPECIALIZED and GENERAL radiographic examinations within the units/clinics and the Medical Imaging Department of the American Hospital. To be part of all procedures and processes that allow the Medical Imaging Department in providing a high standard of service and patient care by assessing, monitoring , participating and assisting in the daily administration duties, infection control /risk management, quality improvement and departmental / hospital wide in-services


Candidate Requirement
Profile Position Requirement:

� Graduate of an accredited School, University, or Institution from where the qualification permits registration with the ARRT or its equivalent.

� Current Registered Licensure in country of citizenship or professional practice.

� Knowledge of JCIA or accreditation standards.

� Knowledge of QI/CQI/PI philosophy

� At least ten years of radiography working experience post graduation , with current clinical experience of five years

� Experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology, CT or MRI speciality mode of radiology is MANDATORY

� Evidence of continuing education.

� Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

� Basic understanding of personal computers essential.

� Knowledge of Middle Eastern customs is advantageous
